Bio: About Sandy Puc'
For over 10 years, Sandy "Sam" Puc' has traveled the world teaching posing, lighting, marketing, and business management. Although Sam thoroughly enjoys her time on the road, she always wanted to create an educational center to provide a constant resource for photographers who are eager to improve their business and marketing savvy.
There are a million sites on the Internet to learn about photography, but Sam wanted to provide something different to provide instant marketing success for up-and-coming photographers. With the creation of SPU, photographers now have a learning site that provides high level instruction, encouragement, tips, tricks, product downloads, posing guides, tutorials, and a comprehensive marketing calendar.
Sam, owner of Sandy Puc' Portrait Design, formerly Expressions by Sandy Puc´ in Littleton, Colorado, is known for her passion, energy and enthusiasm for her art. She is a nationally acclaimed photographer and businesswoman who shares her wisdom and techniques with photographers at all stages of their careers by traveling and lecturing nationally and internationally at seminars and schools. A frequent contributor to professional journals, Sam published her first book on children’s photography in 2008, with more to follow.
Sam is committed to her industry and helping her colleagues, and she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers of America. Sam also holds the prestigious title of Print Master from Canon USA.
Her images have been displayed in numerous magazines, public and professional buildings, billboards and showcased on television. She also shares her abilities with the media when they are in need of professional expertise and has been featured on television and radio as a portrait photography expert.
Sam believes in giving back, both to her immediate community and to her professional colleagues. Since its inception, Expressions Photography has been committed to community service. Each year Expressions conducts several portrait fundraisers to benefit local organizations. She also provides gift certificates to schools and organizations to assist them in their fundraising. Sam is a co-founding member of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit organization that provides portraiture services to families whose babies will never leave the hospital.
